This medium roast Costa Rican coffee comes from the Tarrazu region, just south of San Jose. Pura Vida, which means "pure life" or "simple life," is the unofficial national motto of Costa Rica. This phrase embodies the laid back, friendly culture, and way of life in Costa Rica. Down there the term is used as a greeting, to let people know you're doing well, and a myriad of other ways. Koda and I fell in love with Costa Rica while riding through, and I especially enjoyed the coffee there. Pura Vida!
