Cold Brew at Home
Cold brew is a great way to enjoy coffee during the summer and it's becoming increasingly popular at coffee shops and available in cans/bottles at the store. But you don't need to pay $4-5 for a cup of cold brew. In fact, with just a little preparation you can easily make it at home. Here's how:
1. Add 2-1/2 cups of coarse grind coffee to a large container.
2. Add 12 cups of water.
3. Place in the fridge and let it steep overnight (12-24 hours).
4. Pour it into another container through a mesh or cheesecloth filter.
5. The result is a cold brew concentrate. Add 1 or 2 parts more cold water or milk depending on your preference, and enjoy!
